Social media activist group “Asians With Attitude” has recently posted another video of a group of women of Asian background being physically attacked at some restaurant. The group states that the group of Asian women who got attacked are “tourists” – this is also in the title of their video. We have not been able to confirm whether the group are tourists or not – even so, the more urgent thing is to identify who are the attackers and when this attack happened.
Where it is not clear on the motivations behind the attack, we can assume that there is a racial element to it, as Asians in Australia have been a target of both racial and physical attacks of late. Let’s not forget the recent attack on 3 Vietnamese students in Inala, Brisbane.
