Kamin Gock is a multi-platform journalist for the ABC’s 7.30 program. He was previously a State Political reporter in the NSW newsroom and covered the 2023 state election. In 2023 he was awarded the Kennedy’s Young Journalist of the Year and also received the Andrew Olle Scholarship during which he worked in several newsrooms including 4 Corners, Parliament House and the London bureau. Prior to joining the ABC, Kamin worked for Nine News in Orange, Albury and Perth.

So, the big news is, Gock announced on LinkedIn almost a week ago that in 2025, he would be working from Washington DC, as ABC’s North America Correspondent. This is pretty major, and it is congratulations all round!
