As 2025 edges in – it is a new year for many Asian Australian teens who are entering their young adulthood and starting the next chapter of their lives. Now that they have received their ATAR scores, celebrated, done the schoolies thing (if they were allowed to do so), enjoyed Christmas and the New Year as graduated high schoolers.
With that, CONGRATULATIONS! to all our fellow Asian Aussie teens who received their ATAR and are embarking on their next life chapter!
Anyways, what is interesting is that many of the Aussie news articles, features, television clips etc all feature Asian Aussie students acing their ATAR. In many ways, it may sound stereotypical ( Asians excelling in academics), but it is also the reality ( we will need to unpack this in another piece). So to bring in the new year- here are some awesome news clips, newspaper headlines etc of Asian Aussie acing it on their ATARs!
