The Australian Financial Review has recently released its “Young Rich” list, which is:
“The definitive list of our best and brightest next generation of entrepreneurs, aged 40 and younger. See who’s up, who’s down and meet the debutants in the Financial Review Young Rich list.”
The great news is at least 14 of the entries come from an Asian/Asian Australian background. Here they are:
JACK ZHANG – Co-Found and CEO of Airwallex is ranked 15 on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $410 million

FUNG LAM and WERNER LIU – Founders and Executive Directors of New Aim is ranked 19 on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $273 million

SEAN SENVIRTNE – Founder and CEO of MyDeal.com.au is ranked 24th on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $231 million

MAX LI – Co-Founder and Product Designer at Airwallex is ranked 29th on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $201 million

JACOB DAI – Co-Founder and CTO at Airwallex is ranked 32nd on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $158 million

SELVAM SINNAPPAN and WINSTON WIJEYERATNE – Co-Founders of Sleeping Duck is ranked 33rd on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $150 million

ASHIK AHMED – Founder of Deputy is ranked 35th on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $148 million

JASON DAY – Professional Golfer is ranked 51st on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $83 million

ANSON ZHANG – Co-Founder and CEO of One Stop Warehouse is ranked 62nd on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $59 million

JANE LU – Founder of Showpo is ranked 80th on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $37 million

ATKINSON CHARAN – Founder of Australian Careers Network is ranked 82nd on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $37 million

JEFF YU – Co-Founder of One Stop Warehouse is ranked 83rd on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $37 million

RISHI KHILNANI – Co-Head of small caps for Paradice Investment Management is ranked 85th on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $36 million
TIM FUNG – Co-Founder of Airtasker is ranked 93rd on the “Young Rich” list and is worth $30 million
