Hong Kong- born actor and producer Orion Lee (Turning Red, First Cow, Skyfall) has announced a scholarship under his investment company Constellation Creatives with AFTRS (Australian Film Television and Radio School) to support and develop the career and skills of an individual of Asian background in the Australian screen industry.
The scholarship is stated as being worth at minimum $15,000 and the fund aims to cover general expenses (living, education, resources etc) for the chosen individual. An additional, one-off payment of $5,000 is available to the Recipient in Year 3 of the Course if they choose the Industry Placement elective. This elective provides the Recipient with invaluable on-the-job experience and networking opportunities in the screen industry.
