New Research Report Shows Asian Australian Owned Businesses Are Thriving And Engaging With Asia

This is quite an interesting report, and what disappoints me is that it is not being reported in Australian mainstream media, but then again is anyone really surprised? Anyways a new research report launched a few days ago by the University of Sydney Business School and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) at CommBank Stadium has found that (via Mirage News):

A new generation of Asian-Australian entrepreneurs are looking for opportunities in their ancestral countries and pioneering transnational collaboration in areas such as manufacturing, digitalisation and e-commerce, said the report’s author Dr Wei Li, from the University of Sydney Business School.

The cliché of migrant entrepreneurs as outsiders with low formal qualifications and poor language skills has given way to generational change.

What is awesome about this report is that it shows how Asian Australians are looking for their own opportunities and are breaking the bias in Australia by being their own bosses and instead of being narrow minded and just engage within Australia, or rely on the Australian system to give out sloppy seconds which is usually what happens.

So… what else did the report find?

There are more findings, and if you are interested, please click here for the full report, or go to: https://www.commbank.com.au/articles/newsroom/2022/03/Asian-Australian-businesses-drive-global-links.html?utm_source=miragenews&utm_medium=miragenews&utm_campaign=news
