As spectators, we all enjoy watching the opening ceremony and the the many sports up for offer at every Olympics. However, these last 2 years have been unprecedented with the pandemic and it has delayed the 2020 Olympics to happen in 2021. At this Olympics, there are no spectators in the stands, nor can the athletes have their loved ones present to cheer them on. For this Olympics Australia has sent 477 Olympians to Tokyo to complete in 30 sports, and looking at the team there at least 22 Aussies who are of Asian background. As usual, Aussie mainstream media has not acknowledged who they are and where they are, so here is a list of the Asian Aussies at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and the sport they are competing in.
