The racism coming out of the COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic keeps on giving in Australia, with another attack happening on public transport. A video posted by “Melbourne Train Series 2.0”, shows a woman on a Melbourne train with her young daughter racially attacking a group of Asian/Asian Australian passengers yelling out from her seat to them:
“What’s with the coronavirus then” – basically placing the blame for the pandemic on the Asian/Asian Australian passengers – one of whom was wearing a face mask. Most of the video of that racist woman’s rants are almost incoherent but she can be seen in the video getting up in an attempt to get physically violent against the passengers.
Her daughter in the meantime is crying and urging her mother to stop the rant. The racist woman attempts to validate her existence by yelling out a number of time that she is an “Australian citizen” as she gets held back and told to stop by other passengers.
At the end of the 3 minute video the police are seen trying to sort out the situation. According to the site, this incident happened on the Cranbourne/Pakenham line and it happened in broad daylight. What is most sad about this video is that the racist woman has messed up her daughter and how her daughter sees people and society. Seriously in my opinion that woman is not fit to be a mother considering her daughter was pleading and crying for her to stop the racist tirade to no avail.
